Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Backlog, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Your Account

  1. You may register with an email and password, or sign in with Google or Discord.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  3. One account per person. Do not create accounts to evade a ban or to impersonate someone else.

Your Content

  1. You keep ownership of the library entries, ratings, notes, avatar, and other content you add.
  2. By making your profile public, you allow Backlog to display that content on your public showcase page. Your profile is private by default and going public is always your choice.
  3. You are responsible for the content you upload or publish, including your avatar and bio, and must not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable Use

When using Backlog, you agree not to:

  1. Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content, including as your avatar or bio.
  2. Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users.
  3. Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to abuse the service, or attempt to bypass rate limits, captchas, or account bans.
  4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to the site's systems.
  5. Use the service for any commercial purpose without our permission.

Moderation & Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including through IP bans for abuse. You may stop using Backlog, or request deletion of your account and data, at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Intellectual Property

The Backlog name, design, and software are protected and licensed under the terms described on our Lisensi page.

Penafian

Backlog is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backlog and its rights holder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
